ISRO ASSISTANT RECRUITMENT 2014

ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization ) invites online applications for "assistant" (Administrative support staff) filling-up in various ISRO Centres/Units, across India. Online application submission starts from 17/07/2014 and the closing date is 17/08/2014.

Salary scale : 5200-20200 (+Grade pay 2400)

Age limit : 18-26 as on 07/08/2014

Educational qualification : Graduation in Arts/Commerce/Science/ Management/  Computer Applications with First Class, as published by the University and Knowledge in the use of Computers.

HOW TO APPLY

The Candidates for online registration will be hosted in the ISRO, official website www.isro.gov.in between 17 July 2014 (17/07/2014) and 07 August 2014 (07/08/2014). Candidates may register their applications online at www.isro.gov.in between 17 July 2014 and 07 August 2014. Applications will be available online only. Upon registration, candidates will be provided with an online Registration Number, should be carefully preserved for future reference. E-mail ID of the candidates will have to be provided in the application correctly and compulsorily. 

APPLICATION FEE

For general candidates Rs 100/-

For Women/SC/ST/Ex-serviceman/person with Disability, candidates are exempt from payment of Application Fee. After online registration candidates have download their payment challan from ISRO, it will contain Name of the applicant, Resister number, Name of post, Receipt Account Number and Post Code. Candidates should remit their application fee at the SBT (State Bank of Travancore) branches between 17th July (17-07-2014) and 8th August (08-08-2014).

SELECTION PROCESS

Shortlisted applicants for the basis of academic performance and bio-data, initial screening will be conducted and a higher cut-off percentage, after called for written test. The written test will be conducted on 12 October 2014 at seven venues viz., Ahmedabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Guwahati, Hyderabad, New Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram.
