CAT IIM registration 2014

Common Admission Test is an all-India level management entrance exam conducted jointly by all the admissions for admission to their post graduate management programmes as well as fellowships in management. Common Admission Test (CAT 2014) exam dates have been announced 16, November  & 22, November. Registration for Common Admission Test 2014 examination will begin from August 6 and continue till September 30.

Once Common Admission Test (CAT) results are published, each Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) will directly send interview letters to the candidates they shortlist for the next stage of their selection process. Second stage of IIM selection process is held separately and may differ from IIM to IIM.

According to Common Admission Test 2014 notification, IIMs may shortlist applicants on the basis of their rank in the management entrance test, relevant work experience . These shortlisted applicants will have to go undergo eligibility verification at the IIMs that have invited them for the interview. In the verification, following credentials will also be checked:

Mark sheets and degree certificate
Reservation category requirementsIf applicants fail to produce their mark sheet by the given closing date, their provisional admission will be deemed cancelled automatically. In the 2nd stage of IIM CAT selection process, applicants usually undergo Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussions (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI).
