No vacancy of OBC and SC has been earmarked in Ambala Division. Therefor, the Physically Handicapped have to fulfill the eligibility and qualifying criteria prescribed for OC Community for their selection and candidates will be adjusted against OC Vacancy. Age Limit : 18-27 ( Age limit is relaxable for candidates belonging to SC upto 5 years and for candidates belonging to other backward Cast upto 3 years and for government servants upto 35 years, PH candidates in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Government from time to time)
Educational qualification : 
  • For MTS in Subordinate offices : Matriculation in recognized Board
  • For MTS in Administrative Offices : Matriculation or equivalent from recognized Boards
Exam pattern and syllabus : 
The candidates shall be subjected to an aptitude test of 100 marks of the level of 10th /Matriculation covering the subjects/ topics given below. 
  • Part A  25 Question on General knowledge, Multiple choice question (25 Marks)
  • Part B  25 Question of Mathematics-choice question (25 Marks)
  • Part C  25 Question on English language - Objective type / Multiple choice question (25 Marks)
  • Part D  25 Question on Hindi language - Objective type / Multiple choice question (25 Marks)   
Exam duration : 120 minutes

Selection procedure : The selection will be purely on merit basis, which will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the Aptitude Test. 

Exam fee : 400 (All female candidates and candidates belonging SC/ST and physically handicapped categories are exempted from payment of exam fee. 

Last date of receipt of application  : Last date of receipt of applications by the division/Unit is fixed as 11-02-2015 for normal areas and for those residing in Assam , Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu and Kashmir state, Lahaul and Spiti district and Pangi Sub Division of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadeep  is 18-02-2015

How to Apply:

The application Form should be duly filled up in Hindi/English with all required information.
  • Incomplete or unsigned Application Form, Applications received without required certificate/photos, Applications wrongly addressed or received after due date will be rejected whatever may be the reason for delay. No intimation will be sent in this regard
  • The application should be submitted in original form attached herewith. Any other form/photo copy of the form will be summarily rejected.
  • The application should be sent in enclosed envelope super-scribed in bold letters as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF POSTMAN IN…………………… DIVISION. (Division to which applied).
