HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd) announces recruitment for 56 various posts for 2014 intake for Recruitment to the post of Airframe, Instrument, Electrical, Radio, Radar, Armament, Engine and Meteorology. Number of Posts: To cater the requirement of various Air bases, Production at Nashik and Metro logy Department at Nashik it is proposed to fill 56 Number of Posts in the following trades /Disciplines:

Airframe – 15 post (XS001) 

Electrical – 12 post (XS002)  

Instrument – 09 post (XS003)  

Radio – 05 post (XS004)  

Radar – 03 post (XS005)  

Engine – 06 post (XS006)  

Armament – 04 post (XS007)  

Meteorology – 02 post (XS008)

Qualification

For Post of Airframe, Electrical, Radar, Radio, Instrument, Engine, Armament : IAF Diploma or Diploma in Engineering (Full time regular) or its equivalent

For Post of Meteorology: PUC/ Inter (Full time regular) or equivalent with Proficiency certificate in PC Operation 

Experience

For Post of Airframe, Electrical, Radar, Radio, Instrument, Engine, Armament : Minimum 5 years of working experience on Russian Aircrafts after acquiring the Diploma Qualification. Out of 5 years Experience, Applicants should have at least worked for one year on SU-30 AircraftFor Post of Meteorology: Minimum 5 years of working experience in MET (Meteorology) in IAF / Indian Navy

Age Limit: Age limit  is 28 years(as on 31st July 2014), however Ex-Serviceman who has put not less than six months continuous service in the Armed forces of the Union, shall be allowed to deduct the period of such service from his actual age and if the resultant age does not exceed the maximum age limit prescribed for the post or service for which he seeks appointment / employment by more than 3 years, he is deemed to satisfy the condition regarding the age limit.

Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in respect of SC/ST and 3 years in respect of OBC candidates.

Applicants belonging to the OBC category are required to produce recently obtained Non-creamy layer Certificate in proof of their Community stating that they do not come under the creamy layer from the competent authority, in the Central Government. format and candidates belonging to the SC/ST category are also required to produce their community certificate in proof of their community at the time of interview in the prescribed format.

In respect of Persons with Disability (PWDs), upper age limit is relaxable by 10 years which will be over and above the relaxation admissible for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC mentioned above. For applicants who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period of 1st Jan, 1980 to 31st Dec, 1989 upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years.

Reservation: The posts will be based on the actual scale of Induction as per the rules.

Selection Process: Applications received will be initially screened and the candidates meeting the advertised criteria will be called for the written test. Written test will be held at Nashik or at the place which will be decided by management

Shortlisting: Applicants will be shortlisted in the ratio of 5 times (Maximum) the number of vacancies for the personal interview on the basis of order of merit in the written exam. Final selection will be made on the basis of performance in the written test and interview together.

Application Fee: An Application fee of Rupees 200/- (Rupees two hundred only) in the form of DD (Demand Draft) drawn in favor of Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd, Payable at State Bank of India, Ojhar Township (State Bank of India Branch Code is 1196), which is non-refundable is to be submitted along with the application form. Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/PWD are exempted from paying the application fee
 

Salary

Ex-Servicemen technicians engaged on contract basis will be paid consolidated emoluments (Basic + DA) based on their post qualifications experience, the minimum of the induction level would be as follows:

i) For (Post Code XS001 to XS007) Consolidated Pay of Rs 17430/-  inclusive of Basic Pay + D.A. 

ii) For (Post Code XS008 Consolidated) Pay of Rs 15550/- inclusive of Basic Pay + D.A. In addition to the above, leave, medical facilities, canteen allowance, conveyance reimbursement, PF and Gratuity, Group Insurance etc. will be allowable as per rules
